Balancing a logo with a long name. When you have a really long company name to work with in a logo, you have to find ways to bring balance to your design. The best thing to do is focus on hierarchy - try and split the name into levels and bring focus to one main word. This was then a simple system of thirds and halves to help me balance all the individual elements.
