A dramatic high speed chase came to an end last night when officers used a pursuit drone to deploy a spike strip directly in front of a fleeing vehicle on Interstate 65. The incident began around 9 p.m. when a driver in a stolen sedan refused to pull over and sped onto the interstate, weaving through traffic and pushing speeds over ninety miles per hour. Patrol units followed but struggled to close the gap as the suspect accelerated through heavier traffic ahead. Officers then launched a special
