The No. 16 Texas Longhorns (9-3) concluded the 2025 college football regular season with a significant victory over the No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies (11-1) at home on Friday. Texas won the game 27-17, overcoming a halftime deficit of 10-3.
Speaking of the Big Ten, reigning conference champion No. 6 Oregon will face Washington at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Also in the same window, No. 14 Vanderbilt takes on in-state foe No. 19 Tennessee.
Sarkisian didn’t call out the Aggies by name, but he noted that some of the teams in front of the 16th-ranked Longhorns didn’t play a schedule as tough as Texas’, “and they’ve got a nice pretty record to show for it.”
