The highly-anticipated third season of Squid Game has dropped, and the official Rotten Tomatoes score is public. Kicking off shortly after the intense cliffhanger at the end of 2024’s second seasonGi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) is forced to reenter the fray following the botched revolt and the tragic death of his friend Jung-bae (Lee Seo-hwan).

Currently, Squid Game Season 3 holds an 89% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes, with nearly 30 reviews submitted.

The final fall in Squid Game did not bring with it closure. Instead, it brought a realization that there are very less pieces of art in this industry which can manage to express the human condition as well as this one. The latest season adds to the belief that Squid Game is so far the best show on Netflix.
