Pittsburgh Pirates fan Kavan Markwood, 20, spoke for the first time since his terrifying fall more than 20 feet onto the warning track at PNC Park last week.

The fan who fell onto the field at PNC Park last week, identified as Kavan Markwood, took his first steps since the incident on Monday, according to a post on a fundraiser set up by the mother Markwood’s girlfriend.

The Pittsburgh Pirates brought up an outfielder for their upcoming series at home. Danny Demilio of Pittsburgh Baseball Now reported that Pirates
