Prime Minister Narendra Modi will begin the second day of his official visit to Israel. He will meet Israeli President Isaac Herzog and also visit the World Holocaust Remembrance Centre to pay tribute to the victims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his two-day visit to Israel, arriving in Tel Aviv with a ceremonial welcome. He held a private conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and then addressed the Knesset.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among a select group of world leaders to receive top honours from both Israel and Palestine. In 2018, he was awarded the Grand Collar of the State of Palestine, the highest civilian distinction given to foreign dignitaries, highlighting his unique diplomatic stature in the region.
During the visit, both leaders are expected to review the progress made under the India–Israel Strategic Partnership and explore avenues to deepen cooperation across sectors.
Earlier, government permission was required to sack 100 employees or more. Now, no permission is required for sacking up to 300 employees.
In a Knesset address, Narendra Modi backed the Gaza Peace Initiative, reaffirmed India’s zero tolerance for terrorism, and expressed solidarity with Israel.
