Chicago kept things close in the first half and even held a lead at halftime, 46-44, thanks to Angel Reese and Rachel Banham who combined for 21 points during that span. However, the team appeared to lose its edge in the second half, failing to reach the 20-point mark in either the third and fourth quarter as the Lynx pulled away for good.
