The new trailer opens on Mario and Luigi speeding through the desert on motorbikes, before arriving in the Sand Kingdom, first seen in “Super Mario Odyssey.” The two are pointed towards the region’s inverted pyramid, where they enter, power up with fire flowers, and ultimately discover the green dinosaur Yoshi hiding inside a warp pipe.

We hear that it was the first time the president had seen the full film in advance of a Jan. 29 plan to premiere it in 20 markets at the same time.
