The bipartisan group is made up of 10 governors from across the country, including Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, a Democrat, and Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican who was also been named co-chair of the council. The full list of appointed members includes: Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) Gov. Brian Kemp (R-Ga.)

Other Republican governors on the council are Ron DeSantis of Florida, Brian Kemp of Georgia, Jeff Landry of Louisiana and Henry McMaster of South Carolina.
