The main round of weather will come in on Saturday. Expect a cold front to move toward the area by Saturday evening. This will cause storms to develop through the day ahead of the front. As usual, any storms ahead of the main line will have a better chance of producing tornadoes. All aspects of severe weather will be possible though.

A system over the northern part of the U.S. is expected to fuel damaging winds, hail and tornadoes farther south.
