The Houston Astros ' star slugger, sidelined since May with a fracture in his right hand, played the second game of his rehab assignment with Double-A Corpus Christi on Thursday. He had three hits, including two doubles, in the Hooks' 4-2 victory over the Frisco RoughRiders at Whataburger Field.

Astros starting pitcher Luis Garcia didn't fare as well in his second rehab start of the season with the Hooks. Garcia was roughed up for six runs, five of those earned in 4.1 innings. He did strike out six RoughRiders in addition to having two walks.
