European and NATO leaders announced Sunday that they will join President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Washington, D.C., for talks with President Donald Trump on ending Russia’s war in Ukrain

He will join European leaders including France's president Emmanuel Macron, Italy's PM Giorgia Meloni and Germany's Chancellor Friedrich Merz.

Monday will be Zelenskyy’s first time returning to the Oval Office since Trump said he was “gambling with World War III” and Vice President JD Vance accused the Ukrainian leader of a lack of gratitude, asking him, “Have you said thank you once?” A source familiar said Vance will also attend Monday’s meeting.

At the Alaska-based summit Russian President Vladimir Putin received a red-carpet welcome from the U.S. that included a B-2 bomber fly-by and a ride in the presidential limousine, nicknamed "The Beast" with video of him laughing with Trump.

Zelenskyy said in a statement: “This is a historic decision that the United States is ready to take part in security guarantees for Ukraine. Security guarantees, as a result of our joint work, must really be very practical, delivering protection on land, in the air, and at sea, and must be developed with Europe’s participation.”
