US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says talks with Ukraine over a deal to end the Russia-Ukraine war were productive, but there's "more work to be done". The talks, held in Florida, were attended by a Ukrainian delegation led by national security council secretary Rustem Umerov, Ukraine's new chief negotiator.

The team of Ukrainian negotiators began meeting Sunday morning with Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Trump's son-in-law.

Steve Witkoff, U.S. special envoy to the Middle East, will travel to Moscow on Monday as Ukraine-Russia peace talks show signs of progress.

GOP Rep. Don Bacon said Sunday he feels the White House is sending "mixed signals" on its stance about helping to end the Russia-Ukraine war.

Zelensky didn't reveal much detail about an updated plan, although he said there needed to be more investment for drones.
