Debbie Antonelli’s name joined the Reynolds Coliseum rafters alongside longtime legendary coach Kay Yow’s — a permanent reminder of her immense contributions to basketball, broadcasting and beyond.

"It just feels crazy that my name is going to be up in the rafters at Reynolds," Antonelli told WRAL. "I grew up in that gym. I went to games when I was 13 and I learned girls can play basketball in college and they could get a scholarship to do it,

Antonelli was recently inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame in 2021 and the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame in 2022.
