The NHL postponed the Los Angeles Kings' home game against the Calgary Flames on Wednesday with several massive wildfires burning across the greater Los Angeles area. The Kings and Flames were scheduled to play Wednesday night at the Kings' downtown arena.

"The entire NBA family sends its thoughts and support to the community of Los Angeles during this challenging time," the league said.

As of Thursday there were at least five wildfires raging across Los Angeles, with five people killed and 180,000 told to evacuate their homes; the NHLs Los Angeles Kings were scheduled to host the Cal
