The Miami Dolphins don't have much free agent space to work with in 2025. That said, who might replace safety Jevon Holland?
The Miami Dolphins will need a new safety with the potential exit of Jevon Holland, leading to a new prediction of an All-Pro replacement.
Jevon Holland is considering his options of returning to Miami or playing elsewhere next season, putting the Dolphins in a tough spot.
Jevon Holland’s four-year career with the Miami Dolphins couldn’t have started better, but he’s now on the verge of free agency after a challenging 2024 campaign. A 2021 second-round pick, Holland started 13 games as a rookie and set career highs in passes defended (ten),
Jevon Holland says he’d like to stay in Miami, but he’s also not opposed to playing elsewhere in 2025 and beyond.
Holland has maybe the most intriguing free agency among Dolphins players that will develop over the next two months before the NFL’s free agent negotiating period begins March 10.
The Dolphins have 32 impending free agents, including a few of their impact players from this season. They are also bottom four in cap space and effective cap space, so they might not be able to retain all, or even most, of those players. Miami will probably need to move on from a few of its rostered players too.
Good to go against Gang Green
Tua Tagovailoa has been extremely efficient passing the football after avoiding a sack. This was a point of emphasis of his after losing weight this offseason. #finsup (via @PattonAnalytics) pic.twitter.com/PPXopXT5Jb
AND FOR THE MIAMI DOLPHINS PREMATURELY AS THEY DON ... AND THAT PERHAPS INCLUDES LOSING FREE AGENTS LIKE SAFETY JEVON HOLLAND. WHO KNOWS WHERE I’M GONNA END UP WHEN I’M BACK HERE.
