The College Football Playoff selects locations several years in advance, and on Friday, it announced that the 2027 national championship will be held in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium. The date of the game has been scheduled for Monday, Jan. 25, 2027.

Week 1 of the 2025 college football season features a loaded slate, including LSU at Clemson, Notre Dame at Miami and Alabama at Florida State, among others.
