After a run of successful star-studded seasons on Peacock, a new civilian version of the hit show means it could be your turn to be a Traitor or a Faithful.
LOS ANGELES (AP) — The U.S. version of “ The Traitors ” has brought a group of public figures to a castle in the Scottish Highlands for a game of deceit, with hundreds of thousands of dollars up for grabs. Now, the Emmy award-winning competition will open its doors to everyday people.
On Thursday, Peacock announced during the Television Academy’s Televerse Festival that the popular reality TV series is now casting for an all-civilian-led season, hosted by the current U.S. host, Alan Cumming.
The Traitors has become a standout competition show over its three seasons so far, with viewers tuning in with a Peacock subscription for all the lies, betrayals, twists, and turns. Season 4 will arrive on the streamer after the 2025 TV schedule has ended with a celebrity cast list including Donna Kelce,
Stephen Lambert, the CEO of Studio Lambert (who produces the Peacock and NBC versions) noted, "We're thrilled to be working with NBC to open up the experience to a new group of civilian players, whose stories and strategies will make the gameplay even more unpredictable – and, we hope, even more addictive for viewers."
