BMW M is honoring nine-time motorcycle world champion and current BMW M works driver Valentino Rossi with a special-edition M4 CS Edition VR46. Limited to just 46 units per design variant, the model celebrates Rossi’s 46th birthday with exclusive styling and performance tuning.

The legendary Valentino Rossi, who competed with #46 his entire career, turns 46 this year. To celebrate the occasion, BMW is presenting the nine-time motorcycle world champion with a special version of the M4 CS.

‘There is no other brand that has motorsport so deeply rooted in its DNA as BMW M,’ said Rossi. ‘I am proud to be a BMW M works driver, and to share this passion. The fact that there is now a special VR46 edition, in which I was involved from the very beginning of the design process, makes me proud.’

BMW will offer the VR46 in one of two specifications, Sport and Style. Sport models feature a Marina Bay Sans Blue finish with Tanzanite Blue decals and stickers. The Style version switches to a matte finish of Tanzanite Blue for the main body, with the decals finished in the same colour, but contrasting through their gloss finish.
