At 8:01 p.m. on Friday, the NWS Morristown TN released a flash flood warning in effect until 11 p.m. for Clay County.

A thunderstorm warning has been issued for southeastern Marion County until 2:15 p.m. This includes Moss Bluff. Movement is to the east at 20 mph. Winds over 50 mph and hail are the biggest threats. Additional storms are likely across much of Central Florida during the afternoon and early evening hours.

An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Friday at 6:27 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 7:15 p.m. The alert is for Clay, Clinton, Caldwell and Ray counties.
