Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto revealed the casting on Wednesday, July 16, along with a release date of May 7, 2027

In a statement first revealed through its Nintendo Today app (which previously gave us the film’s original release date ), the publisher confirmed that relative newcomers Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will play Princess Zelda and Link, respectively.

Nintendo has revealed the two young actors who will play Link and Zelda in its live-action movie based on "The Legend of Zelda."
