A driver is being charged after an early morning crash and truck fire shut down Interstate 75 for several hours. The southbound lanes of I-75 were blocked near Tara Blvd. in Clayton County around 3:00 a.m. Clayton County police say they found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames when they got there.
The crash happened just before 3:50 p.m. Florida Highway Patrol troopers said the truck transporting the corn was southbound on I-75 when apparently a tire blew out. The truck hit the guardrail and, as it was overturning, hit a second truck that was in the northbound lanes.

Investigators say 48-year-old Christopher Bradshaw of Canton struck and killed tractor-trailer driver Terrell Lowdermilk of Chattanooga. Lowdermilk had gotten out of his big rig after being involved in a separate crash near South Marietta Parkway.
