The U.S. Attorney’s Office did not sign an arrest warrant for Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) sent by the Metropolitan Police Department Friday over an alleged assault last week, according to multiple news reports.

The U.S. Attorney’s office in Washington, D.C. declined to sign an arrest warrant sent to them by local police for a Republican Congressman who happens to be an ally of President Donald Trump, according to a new report.

Florida Rep. Cory Mills, who has denied any wrongdoing, allegedly pushed and bruised a 27-year-old woman during an incident in his D.C. home

Law enforcement sources told the outlet that they sent an arrest warrant to the U.S. attorney’s office on Friday but that the warrant has not been signed. They also stated that they do not comment on uncharged cases.
