Diogo Jota’s family and former Liverpool teammates gathered in Gondomar, Portugal on Saturday for the funeral of the late soccer star and his brother, André Silva. Jota, 28, and his 25-year-old brother – who was also a professional footballer – died in a car crash in Spain early on Thursday morning,

The father-of-three, who married his long-term partner Rute Cardoso 11 days before the accident, died alongside his brother, Andre Silva.

The Liverpool star's loved ones and former teammates including Virgil Van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Alexis Mac Allister are attending the funeral for the footballer and his brother in Portugal.
