Kennedy has a long record of criticizing vaccines, including spreading misleading claims about their safety.

Trump’s nominee for attorney-general, Matt Gaetz, meanwhile, came under increasing scrutiny with calls to review an unreleased report examining allegations of sexual misconduct.
