Colin Jost once again starred in a Saturday Night Live cold open this week, reprising his role as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. Jost’s performance largely made fun of Hegseth’s bravado over the Trump administration’s invasion of Venezuela earlier this month, but it also took a shot at Hegseth’s workout videos.
"Saturday Night Live" is back, kicking things off with a rapid-fire cold open catching up on the biggest headlines since the show has been gone.

Sabrina Carpenter made a surprise cameo during Saturday Night Live on Jan. 17, joining musical guest A$AP Rocky and host Finn Wolfhard in a hilarious sketch.
The new Jan. 17 episode of "SNL" will be hosted by Finn Wolfhard in his hosting debut. Wolfhard's gig comes just weeks after the finale of "Stranger Things" dropped on Netflix Dec. 31. Wolfhard starred in the show as Mike Wheeler since it premiered in 2016.

Others like Sabrina Carpenter and Jason Momoa, however, felt like they came from the Upside Down. Momoa’s appearance in particular was a doubletake situation. He randomly appeared in a fake trailer for a Harry Potter and Heated Rivalry crossover called Heated Wizardry.
The 15-track album features collaborations with nearly as many artists; the list includes Will.i.am, Doechii, Gorillaz, Jon Batiste and Tyler, the Creator. Filmmaker Tim Burton created the album’s cover art, which shows Rocky’s six personas.
