Women’s suffragette mural unveiled at Kansas Statehouse on Kansas Day
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A new mural was revealed at the Statehouse this Kansas Day. This new work of art celebrates the Kansas suffragette movement, which started in 1859 and ended with the statewide right to vote in 1912. Many were excited to mark the occasion on a day that means so much to Kansans.
