New 24-hour snowfall totals from the National Weather Service in Cleveland show more than a foot of snow in parts of Cuyahoga County, with heavy lake effect accumulations across the snowbelt and east side.

At 12:57 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch valid from Monday 7 p.m. until Wednesday 7 a.m. for Northern Herkimer.

The next round of winter weather is on the way for the U.S., impacting at least 25 states and bringing snow showers as far south as North Carolina and Tennessee, while lake-effect snowbelts in the Midwest and interior Northeast are once again in the bull's eye for highest accumulations.
