The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office said the crash site is between Ririe Dam and the Blacktail Access area.

First responders traveled to the site using snowmobiles and found two people inside the helicopter, authorities said. One was dead, and the other was taken to a hospital.

Bradford Brown, 59, was identified as the man who died in the crash, according to Bonneville County Coroner Shante Sanchez. Brown was from Alpine, Utah, and was the CEO of ATL Technology, which focuses on medical devices. Idaho officials said that Brown appeared to be the pilot at the time of the crash.

The crash involved a Bell 505 helicopter and took place at the Ririe Reservoir. The coroner said Bradford Brown, 59, of Utah died in the crash.
