New York Yankees closer Devin Williams has a 11.25 ERA this season after his blown save against the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday night.

Both the fact that Boone and Williams still haven’t spoken and that Boone candidly admitted it is astonishing. Williams, a two-time All-Star with the Milwaukee Brewers, already owns an 11.25 ERA and -0.8 bWAR over eight innings.

Devin Williams' continued struggles in the ninth inning prompted Yankees manager Aaron Boone to say "we'll see" when asked if the team would consider making a switch at closer.
