Every phone in the Pixel 10 lineup. announced today, has Qi2 magnetic wireless charging at up to 15W. The Pro XL has Qi2.2 and can charge at up to 25W, which is great and all, but wireless charging isn’t the cool part. The magnets are the cool part.
How do you improve on one of the best phones you can buy? Google's answer? A few small improvements. Having spent time with the new Pixel 10 Pro series, it turns out that these improvements make a big impact.
At its product event on Wednesday, Google announced new hardware, which includes the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, as well as the Pixel Watch 4 and the Pixel Buds 2a.
Speaking of losses: Google is taking a page out of Apple’s playbook, and the versions of the Pixel 10 phones sold in the US will be eSIM-only. The physical SIM tray is replaced with the ability to use two active eSIMs at once and store eight “or more” eSIM profiles.
After focusing its big Google I/O 2025 on AI tech and Gemini’s latest features, Google has new hardware. The next Made by Google event kicks off tomorrow, and Google has already confirmed how at least one of its new phones will look.
