Crafted from 800 pounds of butter, this year’s butter sculpture celebrates the joy and nourishment dairy provides at every stage of life, along with a classic inspiration with ties to the state.

The creative butter installation is the unofficial kickoff for the 2025 New York State Fair, which opens on Aug. 20.
