Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro is set to star in The Whisper Man movie for Netflix. The screen adaptation of Alex North's best-selling book will be written by Ben Jacoby and Chase Palmer, and directed by James Ashcroft.

Academy Award winner Robert De Niro has signed on for the leading role in Netflix‘s upcoming crime thriller movie The Whisper Man, based on Alex North’s bestselling 2019 novel of the same name. Production on the project is expected to begin in spring on the East Coast.
