Spectacular fireball over Europe sends meteorite crashing through roof of German home
A meteorite has crashed through the roof of a house after thousands observed a stunning fireball streak across the sky in western Europe.
The fireball from space was spotted by a network of sky-watching cameras in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Germany.

Fragments of a meteorite caused damage to roofs and houses in western Germany on Sunday evening. Police said they received reports of damage from Koblenz and areas nearby at 7 pm (1800 GMT).
