That the Giants could potentially seek a trade to find their franchise quarterback is a reflection of the lukewarm view of this year’s draft class.

When the Minnesota Vikings signed quarterback Sam Darnold to a one-year, $10 million. Contract last offseason, they likely viewed him as a placeholder for whichever signal-caller they drafted in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft.
