James Gunn recently confirmed that Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman will eventually appear together in the new DC Universe. In a recent interview, he hinted at plans for the iconic trio to unite, while clarifying that their team-up won't happen immediately and will depend on the unfolding direction of upcoming DC projects.

Whenever—past or future—Superman meets Batman, Gunn has a pretty good idea what the Man of Steel will think of the Caped Crusader. “I think that he’d probably see a kindred spirit in that,” said Gunn, “Another crazy person wearing a crazy costume. With a very different intent.”
