A scary incident that occurred on Tuesday night has left many up in arms on what the NHL should do. In a game between the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames, Ducks defenseman Drew Helleson was assessed a five-minute major penalty for kneeing Flames forward Connor Zary.

No parent wants to see their child get hurt, and that's exactly what happened to Connor Zary's mom on Tuesday night as the Flames took on the Ducks.

Connor Zary appeared badly injured after a knee-on-knee hit from Ducks defenceman Drew Helleson. Zary was writhing in pain on the ice after the hit grasping at his left knee.
