Texans are reeling from the major flood disaster over the holiday weekend that killed at least 82 people, with another 41 missing. Those numbers are expected to rise as authorities continue searching the affected areas.

Multiple parts of central Texas, including Kerr County, were shocked by flash floods Friday when the Guadalupe River rose rapidly.

As of Sunday night, there were at least 82 confirmed fatalities with the majority of them reported in Kerr County, which has reported 68 deaths from the storm. Among Kerr County’s confirmed dead are at least 28 children. The missing campers were from Camp Mystic, a riverside Christian camp for girls in the small town of Hunt.
