Two Carnival Cruise Line guests drowned in separate incidents at its Celebration Key destination in the Bahamas, according to police and the cruise line.

Two U.S. Carnival Cruise ship passengers have died from apparent drowning in separate incidents on the same day at the same resort, officials confirmed on Sunday.

According to a Facebook post from the Royal Bahamas Police Force, the victims were a 79-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman, who were traveling on separate cruises.
