Kyle Schwarber and Trea Turner each hit home runs as the Philadelphia Phillies won a 16-9 slugfest over the visiting Atlanta Braves in spring training action Thursday at Clearwater, Fla. Bryson Stott and Max Kepler also hit home runs for the Phillies,

Both home runs came in the top of the fifth inning as the Braves batted around. He led off the inning with a solo blast to make it to make it 3-0. He followed it up later in the inning with a three-run shot that made it 10-0.

A National League East rivalry game plays out in Clearwater on Thursday, as the Philadelphia Phillies play host to the Atlanta Braves.

The Braves will make a relatively rare trip down to Clearwater for today’s Spring Training action, which is the first, but certainly not the last, time these two teams will meet across the course of 2025.
