A premiere date for "The Last of Us" season 2 and new character posters for Pedro Pascal's Joel, Bella Ramsey's Ellie and Kaitlyn Dever's Abby have been revealed.

The Hollywood Reporter reports that season two will debut on April 13, meaning that the season will finish airing in late May, and will thus be eligible for this year’s Emmy Awards. The finale of the first season of “The Last of Us” came in March of 2023.
