And if there are accompanists such as singers or other musicians, popup only see their backs. Expense wise, it is a bargain. I have set there a few times, but will admit viewing from the front is better.

Looking for suggestions, ideas on clothing options appropriate for the symphony. Taking into consideration the season and style of music to be performed. Going to see the music of Prince, starring Marshall Charloff. It is scheduled for November 8th. This will be my first time to attending a symphony hall and I want to make sure that I'm not under dressed. The only dress I own is a black knee length. I've worn it once. To my husband's funeral. Don't think I will ever wear it again. So, I'm thinking about skinny jeans or maybe palazzo pants. I love beautiful clothes but, rarely buy them because I spend most of the time in work clothes. The tickets are a special treat to myself and who knows how long it will be before I do something like this again. If anyone has any suggestions please help this old lady out!

Hi Melissa. People wear all kinds of things to Nashville symphony performances. I have noticed that the attire is usually geared to the specific concert. I would not be surprised if you see a lot of purple clothing and Prince vintage concert shirts. I would wear whatever makes you feel good. I really do not think anyone will blink no matter what you wear. There will be women there in their fanciest clothes, in jeans and boots, and all in between. Have a great time!
